Home Remedy for Hair Loss

Mustard seeds contain many necessary elements like phosphorus, magnesium, iron, calcium, protein and zinc. So, it can serve as a good agent for hair loss problem. Take a cup of boiling water and add a table-spoon of mustard seed in it. Cook the mixture for about 5 to 10 minutes and allow it to cool for some time. After the mixture has cooled, drink it. Olive oil is another useful material that can help in curing your hair loss problem. Take two to three table-spoon of olive oil, rosemary, 1 lemon juice and 1 egg yolk. Apply the mixture on the hair root for half an hour and leave it to dry. Once it dries, wash it off with water. Cumin seeds are part of the carrot family and are good for the hair growth. Take nearly half cup of olive oil and add a table-spoon of cumin seeds in it. Rub the mixture properly over the scalp and leave it for some time, half an hour or more. After the mixture dries, rinse it off carefully. Coconut oil is also useful in cases of hair loss. In half cup of coconut oil add some dry pieces of Indian gooseberry (amla). Boil the mixture for some time and then let it cool for some time. Apply it to the scalp. This is very useful in preventing hair loss.

  • Jojoba oil is a popular herbal cure for many skin and hair related problems. Regularly massaging the scalp by jojoba oil has been found to give solution to hair loss.
  • Aloe vera and coconut milk, when mixed together in correct proportion have been found to be useful in hair loss problems.

Besides these measures, one should understand that simply applying various herbal medicines won’t suffice as a cure for hair loss. Instead, if one is serious about proper hair care, he/she should opt for a healthy diet and that can only be possible if a healthy lifestyle is followed. Diet impacts our hair quality.
